Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 May 2026.
Cubing Art is run by Roman Strakhov. By using cubingart.com or the Studio, you accept the terms below — they’re here to keep things clear for everyone.
Ownership
The site, the Studio, the mosaic-generation algorithms, the compiled JavaScript served from this domain, the example images, and related content are the work of Roman Strakhov and are protected by copyright.
How you can use the Studio
You’re welcome to use the Studio in a web browser to turn your own images into mosaic designs, whether the project is personal or commercial. The mosaic designs and instruction PDFs you generate are yours.
A few limits
Please don’t copy, redistribute, host, or republish the site’s source code, compiled JavaScript, or assets. The Studio is intentionally a closed implementation, so please don’t reverse engineer, decompile, deobfuscate, or otherwise try to recover its source form or internal algorithms, except where applicable mandatory law specifically allows it. Please also don’t reimplement the mosaic-generation algorithms, in whole or in substantial part, by working from the site’s code or outputs, and don’t use the site, its code, its algorithms, or its outputs to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine learning models. Automated scraping isn’t allowed either. If you have a use case that bumps into any of these, get in touch — many things are workable with a quick conversation.
Your images
Images you upload to the Studio are processed entirely in your browser. They aren’t transmitted to or stored on the cubingart.com server.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Roman Strakhov isn’t liable for damages arising from your use of the site.
Changes
These terms may change over time. When something material changes, the “Last updated” date above will reflect it.
